PipInsights LLC ("PipInsights," "we," "us") provides retail analytics and reporting services to consumer packaged goods brands. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
We do not collect personal information from consumers, and we do not build or maintain consumer marketing lists.
We use information to deliver our services: to build and refresh client reporting, to communicate with clients about their engagements, to respond to inquiries, to send operational alerts to our own personnel, to invoice, and to maintain the security and integrity of our systems.
Client data is confidential. We use it only to perform the services the client has engaged us for. We do not sell client data, and we do not pool or resell it as a market data product. Where a client's data is governed by a data provider's license or by a non-disclosure agreement, we handle it according to those terms.
No mobile information will be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of information are shared only as described in this policy, and text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party for any purpose other than message delivery.
PipInsights operates one internal SMS alert program. Mobile numbers enrolled in it belong to PipInsights personnel who have given prior express verbal consent for their own device, and are used solely to deliver the operational alerts described in our SMS Alert Program disclosure. Enrolled recipients may reply STOP at any time to be removed immediately, or HELP for assistance. We do not collect mobile numbers from consumers or website visitors, and we operate no consumer-facing messaging program.
We share information only in these circumstances:
We do not sell personal information to anyone, for any purpose.
We retain client data for the duration of the engagement and for a reasonable period afterward for continuity and record-keeping, unless the client asks us to delete it sooner. Contact records are kept until they are no longer needed for the purpose collected.
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect information in our custody, including encrypted transport, access controls, credential isolation, and least-privilege access to client systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete information we hold about you, or ask questions about this policy, by emailing laura@pipinsights.com. We respond to reasonable requests within a reasonable time.
Our services are business-to-business and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and post the revised version on this page.
